This month has gone by so fast… what I am saying is that this entire year has gone by in a flash! As I sit down to write this, I am reminded of how blessed we are to have each of you in our lives.
This year was about growth, both personally and professionally. We started and ended the year with unexpected surprises, both good and bad, but all ultimately resulting in growth. (Growth is good!)
The 50 sparking weeks challenge filled with giving back and acts of kindness has been so amazing thus far. I never would have guessed that wrapping up my 40’s would be filled with so much joy. You see, giving gifts is one of my love languages: it fills my love bucket to use my gifts and talents to help others reach their goals and grow big dreams. Witnessing others spark joy for no other reason than to participate in acts of kindness has been just as rewarding. I am literally feeling the love and I am acutely aware that that is a gift in itself.
This time of year I am reminded of the drummer boy. He thought he had no gifts that were worthy of a King, but in actuality the beautiful song of love poured out from his soul through each tap on the drum. There was once a day not long ago where I didn’t feel my gifts and talents had worth. I was living a life of scarcity and comparison was killing my joy. The truth was like an awakening to me, and quite freeing. If you are struggling to see your worth, I hope you know that is a lie and I think you are pretty great!
It is my prayer that this email will find you in good health, mentally, physically, and spiritually. My Christmas wish is that you will know your gifts have value and that your talents are a blessing. Waking up and doing what you love with people you enjoy is more than anyone could ever ask for, and I thank you for being part of it.
