Nelson Accepts Red Coat, Joining Marion Chamber Ambassadors

Christa Nelson accepts Red Coat Ambassador Roll

Marion, Iowa – Epiphany, a Corridor public relations and marketing firm, announced today that Christa Nelson has accepted the Red Coat call and joined the Marion Chamber Ambassadors.

“I love supporting and celebrating local businesses, especially during pivotable points on their journey,” says Nelson. “As a business owner it meant so much to me to have the Chamber’s support and to celebrate my milestones with the Ambassadors in attendance. The Red Coats are such valued assets to our community and I am honored to join the party as an official member.”

Nelson, a self proclaimed business cheerleader, is an Iowa native passionate about helping others ignite their legacy. Her growing marketing agency specializes in helping businesses and nonprofits grow big dreams through strategic and tactical marketing services. Christa is also very passionate about serving in her community through volunteering her gifts and talents. Christa serves on the boards of Friends of Czech Village and Marion Cares and volunteers for the Linn-Mar Foundation, Linn-Mar Booster Club, Attachment & Trauma Network, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Antioch Christian Church. Since launching in January 2018, Epiphany has selected three nonprofits to receive donated services as their way of giving back to the community. The growing agency offices out of Marion and MERGE in Iowa City.

Marion Chamber Ambassadors serve as the goodwill arm of the Chamber, welcoming new businesses and lending support to members during milestone events such as ribbon-cuttings and groundbreaking ceremonies. In addition, Ambassadors staff monthly BizMix events and work with the businesses who host these networking events. Serving as a Chamber Ambassador allows active members to share their enthusiasm for the organization while networking throughout the community. Applications are open twice per year, in March and September. Any employee of a current Marion Chamber member is encouraged to apply.
